How to install Woodslat Blinds Fitting a woodslat blind is a simple job that shouldn't take much longer than a few minutes. Just follow the instructions below. You will also receive more detailed instructions with your blinds. Tools required 1. Power drill. 2. Drill bit - 5.5mm for drilling into masonry; 8mm for plasterboard. 3. Phillips screwdriver. 4. Pencil. 5 simple steps to fitting your woodslat blind 1. Unpack your blind and check to make sure all the fittings you need are included. 2. Remove the brackets from the ends of the headrail and position them where you intend to fit the blind. Mark out the drill holes - unless it's a very wide blind, two holes is usually enough to drill at each end. 3. Drill your holes, insert the wall plugs provided and screw the brackets into place. 4.Fit your blind into the brackets which will then snap shut. 5.Finally fit the matching valance which the covers the headrail. It's as simple as that! |
