Maximum Panel Width
We recommend widths no greater than 600 mm

Maximum Panel Height
Our maximum panel height is 2450 mm

Divider Rail
A divider rail should be used when the shutter panel is over 1700 mm in height so as to increase the strength of the frame.  A divider rail also allows separate louvre control for the top and bottom panel.

Divider Rail Positioning
While a divider rail is generally positioned at the mid-point of the shutter, you can have it fixed at any height you wish.  You may for instance want the divider rail to line up with a glazing bar on your window.

Tilt Rod
The tilt rod is connected to the louvres using stainless steel staples.  These will ensure the rod never becomes detached from the louvres.

Rear Louvre Control
Our Clearview range of shutters has a concealed
louvre control mechanism to the rear of the panel
thus doing away with the need for a tilt rod.

Shutter Construction
All our shutters are constructed using 10 mm dowels which are glued and cramped to join the stiles to the top and bottom rails and to the divider rail if one is used.
Louvres are set within the stiles using nylon pins.  These ensure the smooth operation of the louvres.
